Project Overview
Client: Drifa's Leap (www.drifasleap.com)
Industry: E-commerce / Handmade Marketplace
Timeline: October 2025
My Role: Deck Designer, Story Strategist, Creative Director
The founder, Ann Taylor, came to me with raw notes, a few metrics, and a mission to show investors how a marketplace built and invested in by artists could scale without selling out. Over two weeks, I transformed these materials into a clean, data-driven investor presentation that matched her story's heart with startup-grade design.

Scope of Work
Deck Strategy & Structure
I consolidated a 12-slide concept into a tight, 10-slide narrative that walks potential investors from market disruption to traction and financials. Each slide was rewritten for clarity, built for voiceover pacing, and sequenced for flow by presenting the story first, then hitting em' with a data KO punch.
Visual Design
Working from the client's existing logo and limited brand assets, I created a modern, minimal design system: soft sand backgrounds, indigo and azure gradients, and clean typography. I made the presentation using Figma with the ability to export to PDF or PowerPoint.
Data Verification & Narrative Alignment
Before the design started, I audited all the provided materials with the client to assure that all the growth metrics, revenue models, and traction data from the source documents was citable and backed up by real metrics. Every number in the final deck was confirmed or labeled accordingly for investor transparency.

Wrap Up / Reflection
This project blended brand storytelling and structure to help turn a founder's passion into an investor-ready narrative.
The final deck helped Drifa's Leap articulate its mission with clarity: to rebuild the handmade economy by giving artists a platform built for them, not against them.
It's a strong example of how thoughtful design and precise data storytelling can elevate a founder's vision from idea to investable opportunity.
